Organized labor and one of the state’s largest teachers’ unions are just some of the groups that have already issued their support of State Representative Jeff Rezabek (R-Clayton) in his bid for re-election to the 43rd Ohio House District.
The Ohio Education Association, which represents more than 120,000 teachers and faculty across the state, announced its endorsement of Rezabek earlier this summer.
Rezabek has also received endorsements from:
• The International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 18, an organization of 15,000 members that has served the needs of the state’s operating engineers for more than 70 years
• The Teamsters, made up of 1.5 million workers in a variety of public and private industries
• Ohio’s Affiliated Construction Trades Union (ACT Ohio), which advocates for quality, safe construction by qualifies contractors and skilled craftsmen
“I am grateful for the support I’ve received from such a wide variety of organizations that do great work on behalf of Ohio families,” Rezabek said. “This broad swath of endorsements, from both business and labor groups, shows that I have been able to work well on several areas that are key to strengthening Ohio’s future.”
The 43rd House District contains all of Preble County and parts of Montgomery County.
